Nederlandse Gasunie to provisionally become a private limited liability company
With effect from 22 March, N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie will provisionally become a private limited liability company, B.V. Nederlandse Gasunie. This process is necessary to legally complete the division of Gasunie into separate entities.
Nederlandse Gasunie is being converted into a private limited liability company on 'technical' grounds.
Following the division, the trading company will legally assume the name Gasunie Trade & Supply B.V. It will retain the same shareholders as the present Gasunie, namely the State of the Netherlands (50%), Shell and Esso (25% each).
Once the division has been completed, the transport company B.V. Nederlandse Gasunie will convert back into a public limited company.
Because this amendment is only temporary, the name N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie will not be altered throughout the site.
