Annual report 2007

PRESS RELEASE

Groningen, April 16, 2008

Annual results 2007 GasTerra B.V.

Net turnover went down by 3.8 per cent to  € 17,7 billion, from € 18.4 billion in 2006( - 3.8 per cent). The average selling price per cubic metre was 22.5 cents (2006: 23.0 cents).
GasTerra's sales volume fell slightly, from 78.8 billion m3 (2006) to 77.8 billion m3 in 2007 (-1.3%).
The combination of an inital price decrease and a lower sales volume was not wholly offset by the price increase later in 2007.
This decline was primarly a result of the mild weather during the winter, the warmest ever measured.

Purchases from the "small fields" in the Netherlands were 37.3 billion m3 (2006: 36.2 billion m3) and represent 47.9 per cent of total purchases. From NAM-Groningen 30.4 billion m3 was purchased; 39.1 per cent of the total puchases). These figures illustrates once again the significant contribution of these small fields.

Setting aside unforseen circumstances, GasTerra expects to achieve a sales volume in 2008 of approximately 85 billion m3, with a projected increase in both domestic and export sales compared with 2007. Sales on trading places rose notably in 2007, indicative for further development of the functioning of the liberalised market.
