Since the 2009/2010 season, GasTerra has been the main sponsor of the Groningen-based basketball team GasTerra Flames. In 2010 the team was Netherlands' champion. GasTerra is also the main sponsor of GasTerra Eurovoetbal. At this annual tournament, youth teams from top European clubs meet each other on the astroturf pitches of the Groningen football club Be Quick. The shirts worn by all the Be Quick youth teams bear the GasTerra logo. GasTerra is also the main sponsor of the Groninger and Harense Hockey Club. And the Ladies Run, an annual running event right through the center of Groningen, can also count on support from GasTerra.
