Donations

The fish club whose cashbox was stolen and the theatre club that needed decorating. These are just two of the many examples of parties that have received a donation from GasTerra. Many of the gifts went to individuals or organisations that have links with Groningen. That is a deliberate choice. GasTerra is a Groningen-based company with its roots in Groningen. Of course, that does not mean that GasTerra, a company that operates nationally and internationally, does not wish to be active beyond the provincial borders. In 2010 GasTerra set up its Volunteers' Fund especially for internal use. Employees who do voluntary work in the community can call upon this fund.
