Green Dream District

GasTerra is the main sponsor of the TV series Green Dream District. This National Geographic competition programme aims to find a top invention and shows young people presenting their sustainable solutions on themes such as living, working, mobility and recreation. A jury of experts assesses the ideas and decides who has the best invention and who therefore takes home the first prize of five thousand euros. The 2011 programme will have Hans Overdiep, Energy Transition Manager at GasTerra, in the jury. Presenters Joris Putman and Levi van Kempen cover more and more ground with each broadcast, looking for the latest sustainable technological innovations. 2010 was dominated by such features as the HEe boiler, heat pumps and central biogas production.
