"As a business analyst, I calculate the up-to-the minute prices we make public twice a day. The calculation factors in current oil and gas prices and the rate of the euro against the dollar. I am also involved in investigations into the market. Right now I'm working on a winter analysis. What is the offtake pattern? What is GasTerra's share in the market and how do these figures compare with previous years?

It's no accident that I've ended up at GasTerra. My thesis was about the energy market, so my interest had already been aroused. It is an exciting market where there is a lot going on. Now that I can go into it in more depth, it turns out to be a more specific subject than I thought. Fortunately GasTerra is a professional organisation and the staff are very approachable.If I have any questions, I can simply knock on my colleagues' doors.

I like the idea that young GasTerra employees get the opportunity to change jobs after a few years. This is how you get a broad view of the organisation and the market. I really consider this job to be the start of my career within GasTerra.’
