Horticulture is a sector that has been pursuing an efficiency-oriented policy for years already, both for environmental reasons and economic factors, given the proportion of the energy bill as a total of the operating costs. Undiminished attention is however paid to the areas of possible improvements and further savings. Steps were taken in 2007 by GasTerra in consultation with the representative horticultural organisation to create a permanent exhibition greenhouse displaying the latest inventions in the area of CO2 management and sustainability.
