The Smart Cooling Foundation was established at the beginning of 2007 on the initiative of GasTerra and a number of manufacturers and suppliers of gas-driven heat pumps. This foundation is dedicated to more widespread application of sustainable cooling and heating by means of gas-driven heat pumps in non-residential buildings, care institutions and industry. This includes new builds and existing buildings. The projects that the foundation has carried out during the year under review are described in the chapter ‘Cooling with natural gas’.
