Drs. G.J. Lankhorst

Gertjan Lankhorst was born in Amsterdam on 22 December 1957. Between 1982 and 1986 he worked at Amsterdam Free University. He joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1986 as a member of the General Economic Policy Department. This was followed by various positions within the Ministry, including Director of Oil and Gas (1996-1999), Competition Director (1999-2003) and Director-General for Energy (2004-2005).

On 1 September 2006, Gertjan Lankhorst was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GasTerra.

Ir. M. Blacquière

Maarten Blacquière was born in Haarlem at 28 January 1967. He joined Esso Nederland B.V. (ExxonMobil) in May 1989.
Here he fulfills multiple positions, among others the position of Cost Analyst at the Esso Refinery Rotterdam, Supervisor Marine Fuels Sales and Expert Regulation Esso Natural Gas.
From 2003 until 2005 he holds the position of European Financial Acounting & Reporting Migration Manager. He held the responsibility for the migration of approximately 80 positions at the scope of financial administration and reporting, from 8 West-European offices to a Business Support Center in Budapest.

Maarten Blacquière has worked for GasTerra B.V. since September 2005. Firstly, he fulfills the position of deputy Chief Financial Officer. As from 1 January 2006 he became Chief Financial Officer. Within this position he is responsible for the financial-economic policy of GasTerra B.V., as well as for treasury, operational audit, procurement and facility services.

Dr. K.K. Spiekermann

Klaus Spiekermann was born in Oberhausen at 7 January 1950. After graduating at Cologne University, Klaus Spiekermann joined Shell in 1977. First, he spent several years as Head of Production in the Godorf Refinery for Deutsche Shell, and afterwards he worked in Operations Research and various corporate planning functions in Germany and The Netherlands.

In the early nineties, Mr. Spiekermann became Supply and Trading Manager for Deutsche Shell, followed by a move to the UK to develop supply options for Shell's downstream oil business in Central Europe. He returned to Germany to lead Deutsche Shell's natural gas business followed by an appointment to establish an electricity business for Shell in Germany. Since the end of 2001, he has been responsible for Shell Energy's European Industrial & Commercial business and General Manager for Shell Gas Direct, based in London.

In October, 2003, Klaus Spiekermann joined GasTerra as the Managing Director of Gas Sales.
Drs.J.E.Kielman

Jacob Kielman was born at 30 September 1951.
From 1973 until 1974 he worked at the Paper Factory Union in Oude Pekela; he fulfilled the position of management assistant.
From 1977 until 1981 he became staff teacher at the Foundation College Social Labour (study area Labour Markets Politics and Personnel Policy). Then he became an employee organization advice department at PTT, Telephone District Groningen.

He has worked at Gasunie since 1983. He started as a staff employee capital market in the Treasury department. He then became the manager of the Capital Market department, Foreign Currency and Money Market. In 1989, he was appointed as project leader Gas Purchases. From 1990 to 1996 he was manager Gas Sales Industry and after that manager Treasury and Economy. On 15 February 2000, he was appointed as Director Gas Purchases.

Ir. A.E.M. Broenink

Anton Broenink (Ir.) was born on 26 May 1957. In May 1981, he entered employment with Esso Nederland B.V., where he held different positions in both the Netherlands and abroad. From 1981 to 1983, he was an Engineer in the Logistics Department at Esso Benelux and immediately thereafter at the Esso refinery in Rotterdam. Following on from this, from 1984 to 1986, he was Senior Engineer at Exxon Research & Development and at the Flexicoking Unit of Esso in Rotterdam. In the period from 1986 to 2002, he held a range of positions varying from Supply Operations Manager to European Optimization Advisor and was responsible for managing several projects. In 2002, he was named Gas Marketing Manager at the ExxonMobil Gas Marketing Department.

On 1 June 2007, Ir. Anton E.M. Broenink (50) entered employment with GasTerra as a member of the management team, responsible for strategy and planning.
